Prof. Leo Schestov, famous Russian-Jewish philosopher, died here today at the age of 72. He was Professor of Russian Philosophy at the University of Paris. His “super-rationalistic” philosophy applied principally to the Bible and attacked all scientific philosophies. He was born in Kiev, his family name being Schwarzmann.
