German’s anti-Jewish Nuremberg race and citizenship laws will henceforth apply to the Free City of Danzig, it was officially proclaimed. Nazi officials here said that Jews who were nationals of Danzig would retain their citizenship but could not henceforth be named to public positions. The Polish General Commissary protested to the Senate against the proclamation of the Nuremberg laws on the ground that application to Polish citizens was inadmissible.
