Radio Station Inaugurates “refugee Theatre of the Air”; Van Loon Hits Fascism

Radio Station WHN, one of the largest independent radio stations in the metropolitan area, tonight inaugurated a “Refugee Theatre of the Air,” with a 30-minute performance by a number of well-known artists who are refugees from Germany and Austria. Hendrik Willem van Loon, prominent author and lecturer, was to act as master of ceremonies. In a separate broadcast on another station, Mr. Van Loon assailed Fascim. His book “Our Battle,” an answer to Hitler’s “My Battle,” has become a best-seller.
