Two Jews, one of them a Gaffir, were slain today and 3,000 orange trees were destroyed by terrorists in an orange grove at Beer Tuvia, in continuing disorders.

British troops launched large-scale military operations in the “devil’s triangle” in central Palestine. At least 62 Arab rebels were killed in clashes during the last 24 hours. British forces arrested 1,500 villagers suspected of terrorist activities and assigned them to public works enterprises at Nablus.
