Mayor Page told guests at a luncheon today in honor of Lord Marley, British laborite, that Africa required more immigrants, adding that there were many suitable areas for settlement in Northern and Southern Rhodesia, Nyasaland, Tanganyika and Kenya. “There are brilliant scientists and others among the refugees,” the Mayor said. “If Germany does not want them, Africa can do with them and should be glad to receive them.”
