Lebrun Scores Nations Basing Policies on Race

President Albert Lebrun tonight scored those “dynamic nations” which base their law on the “natural aspirations of races” and the “inevitable evolution of history” while neglecting traditional principles of domestic and international law. “Let us call things by their right name,” he said. “This is replacing the rule of law by the rule of force!” He spoke at a banquet of the Association of French Journalists.
