In trucks, taxis and buses, 427 expelled Danzig Jews were today crossing Germany bound for an unknown destination. The Jews were piled into the vehicles Friday by Danzig police and driven across the border. Expulsion of the Jews had originally been slated for January and was postponed several times reportedly because arrangements for their transportation from an Italian port had fallen through.

Two British journalists, Miss Ruby Hobling of the Reuters News Agency and Vaughan Jones, Berlin correspondent of the Daily Express, were arrested while watching the loading but were later released.
