A group of 68 German-Jewish refugees departed for Chile today with the Government’s permission to settle as farmers. The group had been refused admission by Uruguay when they arrived on the liner Conte Grande and were about to be returned to Germany when the Chilean Government granted visas. Meanwhile, 25 refugees who arrived here yesterday on the German ship Cap Arcona were not permitted to land.
