The Slovakian Government today banned the American Slovak newspapers Slovensky Sokol, the New Yorky Denik, and the Hlas Ludu, because they had denounced the “brutal anti-Semitism” prevailing in Slovakia.

The Butchers’ Union has appealed to the Government to prohibit shechita.
