Otto M. Schiff, prominent communal worker and chairman of the German Jewish Aid Committee, was today appointed a commander in the civil division of the Order of the British Empire. Abraham Jeremy Raisman, of the Indian Civil Service, was knighted. The honors were among those announced for the King’s Birthday Honors List.
