The government of Luxemburg today added its offer to accept 75 of the refugees aboard the German liner St. Louis to the offers already made by England, France, Belgium and Holland. Receipt of the offer by the Joint Distribution Committee was made known in a statement issued by James N. Rosenberg, Joseph C. Hyman and I. Edwin Goldwasser, officers of the J.D.C. “The Joint Distribution Committee has conducted the negotiations with all the governments involved and so far has assumed the entire financial burden and expresses its gratitude to the governments for their hospitality,” the statement said.
