London Paper Urges Firmness in Face of Violence

The Daily Telegraph, commenting on the bombing in Haifa yesterday, advised the Government today that the surest way to counter violence was to “give unmistakable evidence that under no circumstances will the new Palestine policy be abandoned.” The newspaper said that the most sinister feature of the situation was that the Jews were “taking a leaf from the Arab book”
