Palestine Court Reduces Refugee Smuggler’s Sentence

The Court of Appeals today reduced to four months the six-month prison term meted out by a lower court last month to Max Seligman, Tel Aviv lawyer who had been found guilty of conspiracy to smuggle Jews into Palestine. The three-man court unanimously rejected his appeal for reversal of his conviction.
