A Government customs cutter today arrested six German refugees, one of them a woman, at sea in a battered ship’s boat in which they were attempting to reach England on their way to the United States. Lacking passports, the refugees had been wandering about Europe a year before they pooled their last resources and purchased the boat. They will be imprisoned until the Government decided what to do with them.
