Polish Zionists Voice “bitterness” at Decree

A joint session of all Zionist central committees today cabled to the British Government and all British parties an expression of “surprise and bitterness” over the six-month suspension of immigration to Palestine decreed by the Colonial Office. The message charged that the decree was punishing the entire Jewish people for the actions of “unfortunate people trying to escape annihilation” by smuggling themselves into Palestine.
