Latvia Turns Back Lithuanian Jews at Border

Latvia was reported today to be discriminating against Lithuanian Jews by not permitting them to cross the frontier without special permits, although generally no visas are required for Lithuanian citizens entering Latvia, When informed that many had been sent back by the Latvian frontier guards, the Latvian Consulate here declaimed that Lithuanian Jews needed permits.
