Magnes Reelected Hebrew U President $510,000 Budget Adopted

The board of governors of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem at a meeting president over by Dr. Chaim Weizmann yesterday reelected Dr. Judah Leib Magnes, formerly of New York as president of the university and adopted a budget of $510,000 for the institution.

It was decided to establish an Education Department headed by Nissim Turrow. It was announced that establishment of an Agricultural College building in Rehoboth was assured because of the cooperation of Federal Judge Julian M. Mack of New York.

Mrs. Rosenson of New York was elected a member of the board, representing Hadassah, in place of the retiring Mrs. Judith Epstein.
