Kuhn Trial Set for Oct. 30

Fritz Kuhn, leader of the German-American Bund, charged with embezzling $14,548 of the Bund’s funds, will be tried on Oct. 30. Kuhn is in jail in default of $50,000 bail. General Sessions Judge Saul S. Streit, who set the date of the trial, denied the defense’s motion for a bill of particulars in support of the indictment and ordered a blue ribbon panel.
