Uniformed Nazi storm troopers have brutally attacked Jewish families in Aachen (Aix-la-Chapelle), Germany, it was reported here today. A “flying squad” of the Brownshirts was said to have burst into a Jewish hotel, ordered all guests to leave and dragged the proprietor’s wife down a flight of stairs. Police reportedly stood by while the raiders broke windows and smashed glassware in the hotel.

A similar attack was made against the hotel last year during the anti-Jewish excesses following assassination of a German Embassy official in Paris by a young Polish Jew.
