Famed Jewish Library in Berlin Confiscated by Nazis

The Nazi authorities in Berlin have confiscated the famous library of the Berlin Jewish Community without compensation, it was reported here today. The library contains 80,000 volumes and a large number of manuscripts. It has been placed at the disposal of the Institute for Racial Research conducted by Alfred Rosenberg and Julius Streicher.
