The American Red Cross, attempting to move supplies into Poland, has encountered difficulties with the Anglo-French blockade authorities, it was learned today.

The British are insisting that ships carrying Red Cross supplies for shipment into Nazi-dominated Poland carry nothing else but these supplies, to avoid evasion of blockade regulations. The Red Cross is attempting to work out a compromise plan with British officials. Thus far no supplies have been delayed by the regulations, and medicines and clothing are now en route from Trieste and Genoa to Cracow.
