Salinger Heads New York Ort Drive for $500,000

Edgar Salinger, chairman of the Plan and Scope Committee of the American ORT Federation and a director of the National Refugee Service, has been named chairman of the $500,000 ORT New York drive in the national campaign for $1,250,000, according to an announcement by George Backer, ORT president.

Resignation of Harold Altschul as executive vice-chairman of the ORT was announced by Louis B. Boudin, chairman of the board.
