11 School Officials Tried in Jerusalem on Arms Charge

After a three-day presentation of the prosecution’s case, a military court yesterday released for lack of evidence two of 11 officials of the Ben Shemen school, where arms were alleged to have been found in a search on Jan. 22. Those released were Dr. Samuel Likniatzki and Haim Miller. The defense of the other nine began yesterday.

A fine of £10 or an alternative of 30 days in jail has been imposed upon Prof. Ricardo Racci, formerly of Genoa University and now a statistician at the Hadassah-University Hospital, for taking part in an unlawful assembly following publication of the Palestine land act. Prof. Racci was also bound over in £10 for six months.
