Reports from German-occupied Poland said today that a typhus epidemic was still raging in Warsaw with 200 to 300 new cases reported daily, of whom at least 90 per cent were Jews. The German authorities have increased the number of disinfecting stations from 212 to almost 400, in order to prevent the spread of infection from the ghetto to surrounding quarters, the reports said.
