Vaida-voevod, Anti-semite, Listed As Possible Premier in Rumania

A Havas News Agency dispatch from Bucharest reported today the imminent fall of the Tatarescu Cabinet, with the pro-French Premier in all likelihood being replaced either by Foreign Minister Ion Gigurtu or former Premier Alexander Vaida-Voevod, both of whom are pronouncedly pro-Nazi. Gigurtu is a personal friend of Nazi Economics Dictator Hermann Goering. Vaida-Voevod, once a Peasant Party leader and three times Premier of Rumania, headed the anti-democratic Rumanian Front and has long been one of the country’s leading anti-Semites.
