The German wireless reports from Vichy that French Interior Minister Adrian Marquet has restricted entry into unoccupied France “With the aim of preventing public order in France from being disturbed by undesirable foreign and Jewish elements.”

“Entering unoccupied France by foreigners hereafter is subjected to the harshest control and for the time being hardly any admission will be granted.”
