Revision of the import regulations of gas masks into Palestine was noted today in a Department of Commerce report, and government officials indicated that the new regulations will permit larger quantities of gas masks to be imported into Palestine.

Prior to the revision only gas masks approved by the United Kingdom Home Office were permitted to enter Palestine. The regulations now permit any gas mask approved by the Palestine Government to enter. The revision also permits travellers to take their own gas masks into the country regardless of their manufacture.
