Deutschlandsender, Berlin radio station, reported today in its French-language broadcast that the Petain Government in unoccupied France would establish compulsory labor camps for Jews and bar Jews from working as journalists, civil servants and teachers.

The Vichy authorities will set up concentration camps for “Jewish profiteers, exploiters and swindlers, who provoked the present war,” the broadcast said. “They will be put to forced labor repairing damage in the war-devastated regions and also will lose French nationality.”
