The Germans have captured Otto Strasser, exiled leader of the anti-Hitler “Black Front” who is accused by the Gestapo of organizing the Munich bomb plot against Chancellor Hitler, the Associated Press reported today from Berlin.
An informed German source was quoted as saying in another A.P. Berlin dispatch that when the Nazis entered Paris they found Herschel Grynszpan, young Polish Jew held in the Sante Prison pending trial for the slaying of Ernst vom Rath, secretary of the German Embassy in Paris. (This dispatch apparently confirmed reports from abroad late in June that Grynszpan had been seized by the Nazi invaders.)
