The Hungarian Government today decreed expropriation of a large portion of the land still under Jewish ownership, German wireless reports said.
This action was in line with the Hungarian peasant resettlement program aimed at expropriation of 500,000 acres of Jewish-owned land in Hungary. Earlier this year about 125,000 acres of this land were taken over under this plan.
