Roosevelt Urges Hadassah to Uphold Jewish Culture, American Principles

President Roosevelt urged Junior Hadassah to uphold the ideals of Jewish culture and the principles of Americanism in a telegram to the 17th annual convention of the organization which opened here tonight.

In an address at the opening mass rally. Dr. Nahum Goldmann, chairman of the Administrative Committee of the World Jewish Congress and former Geneva representative of the Jewish Agency, spoke on “The Jewish Problem in the light of World Events.”
