German officials raided a number of Jewish institutions at Paris, including the famous Rabbinical College, it was reported here today.

Attempts were made to set fire to the college synagogue, it was said. The Jewish teachers’ seminary of the Israelite Normal School also was raided, the library searched and the Holy Scrolls of the Law desecrated, the reports asserted. Other raids were carried out against offices of the World Jewish Congress, the ORT-OSE and a flat formerly occupied by Mark Jarblum, president of the Federation of Jewish Societies of France.
