Recruiting of the first two 200-man companies of Jews for the Buff regiment has been completed. Vacancies still exist in the Arab units.
The first women S motor unit in the Near East has been formed by 32 Tel Aviv members of the Women s International Zionist Organization. Members of the unit wear blue overalls and blue pilot caps. They will take care of normal transport in emergencies, especially in regard to first aid.
