New regulations barring Jews from public employment and from the education system have been issued by the Nazis in Holland, it was reported here today.

Until recently Jews with some exceptions, were permitted to engage in all act ivities, except law and journalism, in the Netherlands. The Nazis apparently now have abandoned their original plans to refrain from cracking down too hard on the Jews to avoid irritating the population.

The new measures specify that no public institution henceforth may employ persons who are wholly or partly Jewish, it was reported. The same applies to the educational system. Provincial local councils have been instructed to send in lists of Jewish employes.
