The 15th anniversary convention of the Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America, attended by about 500 delegates at the Hotel Ritz Carlton, today voted $12,500 to plant a 10,000-tree forest in Palestine, including a grove named for Mrs. Bessie Gotsfeld, director of the organization’s projects in Palestine.

In an Armistice Day address at tonight a session, Prof. Horace M. Kallen declared that the outcome of the present war “will have to be either a confederation of the states of the world–all of them–for the purpose of maintaining peace and collective security, or a monolithic, imperialistic state which will impose its will on all others and make an imposed ‘peace’ by force.”
