The newly-born grandson of the late Salman David Levontine has been named Winston, in honor of the British Prime Minister. Levontine, who died on June 19, at the age of 84, was one of the founders of the first Chevevei Zion colony, Rishon-le-Zion, and was invited by Herzl in 1901 to establish the Jewish Colonial Trust, of which he was a director until 1924.
