Several hundred delegates representing 450 labor, religious and fraternal organizations affiliated with the Women’s Division of the Joint Boycott Council participated in the fifth annual conference of the Women’s Division at the Hotel Astor yesterday and went on record as rejecting any plan for breaking the British blockade by sending food to Nazi-dominated countries. A resolution said that since “their salvation and independence can come only with a British victory,” the breaking of the blockade would “lengthen the period of their servitude under the Nazi heel.”
