Nazi-inspired Plan for Pogrom in Yugoslavia Uncovered

Axis propaganda in Yugoslavia is being accompanied by violent anti-Jewish agitation, according to reliable reports received here today.

A plan to blow up the Jewish community offices in Zagreb and organize pogroms there was uncovered by an investigation into a Croat Fascist bomb plot against the British consulate in Zagreb. The Government is reported to be trying to hush up Croat Fascist activities, which are guided by German Nazi agents.

The Belgrade newspaper Vreme is demanding a numerous clauses on Jews and introduction of “ghetto benches” in elementary schools.
