Greeks Rename Captured Village for Jewish Hero Slain in Attack

The captured Albanian village of Bessantchi has been renamed by the Greek Government “Fritsi,” it was announced today, in honor of the Jewish army colonel, Mordechai Fritsi, who fell near the village, “heroically leading his troops to victory.”
