Palestine Seeks Increase in Food Production

High Commissioner Sir Harold A. MacMichael met informally today at Government House with a number of Arab notables from all over the country to discuss ways and means of increasing food production in Arab areas.

Brigadier-General B.S. Pen, of the British Supply Ministry’s mission to New Delhi, is coming here by air at the Palestine Government’s request to investigate the country’s actual and potential capacity to produce war supplies other than arms and ammunition.

Meanwhile, the Government permitted the Aviron company to resume weekend flights between Lydda and Samakh.
