Approximately 13,500 aliens have been released from internment to date, it was announced today. Nearly 2,000 have volunteered for the Pioneer Corps. Of this number 275 are employed as aircraft experts, 175 have become active fighters against Nazism, 280 are scientists, 450 hold key positions in industries of national importance and 380 are skilled workers in agriculture and fruit-growing.
