Americanization of Jewish life and the Jewish home is assuming such proportions that it has become necessary to consider whether English should not be used, with Yiddish, as a language of instruction on Jewish subjects in Jewish schools.

This question is one of the major issued being discussed at the twelfth annual convention of the Jewish Workmen’s Circle Schools here. About 150 schools from all over the United States and Canada are represented at the convention with 275 delegates. The convention, which will conclude Sunday, is to discuss methods of modern Jewish education for the 8,000 children attending Workmen’s Circle schools throughout the country.
