A check for $2,000 was presented to Rabbi Stephen S. Wise by the Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America at a luncheon in the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel today, to purchase the first kosher mobile kitchen for England.
More than $50,000 was raised as proceeds of the luncheon, which will be devoted to the Palestine projects of the Mizrachi Women. Rabbi Wise and Mrs. Isaac Herzog, wife of the Chief Rabbi of Palestine, were the principal speakers.
