The Paris police perfect was reported by Free French circles here today to have ordered all Jews to surrender, between June 25 and 50, all licenses for any kind of commercial activity. The order coincides with Vichy’s announcement of stricter anti-Jewish laws and is based on a decree by the German occupation authorities prohibiting Jews from exercising any profession which brings them into contact with the public.
