At the invitation of a group of leaders of the Jewish community of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Nathan Chanin, educational director of the Workmen’s Circle and a member of the board of directors of the Joint Distribution Committee, left for that city last week on a mission in behalf of aid to Jewish victims of war and persecution in Europe it was announced today.
