310 Internees in Australia May Be Freed to Go to U.S.

Home Secretary Herbert Morrison stated in Commons today that of 2,500 aliens interned in Australia, 310 may be allowed to immigrate to the United States. He added that return of 130 to Britain had been sanctioned so that their release might be considered and 62 were not on their way to Britain.
