Many Jewish refugees and 500 Poles are among the civilians in Cyprus whose evacuation to the mainland is now reported complete. The Jews included scores of refugees from Germany, Austria and Rumania who had founded many thriving enterprises, such as cafes, cabarets end small factories, which have now been closed.
