Latin American Lands Urged to Open Doors

A resolution urging the governments of Latin American states to open their doors for immigrants was submitted here to the conference of the Pan-American Congress of Commerce and Industry.

The resolution introduced by the Association of Traveling Salesmen of Uruguay, declares the development of Latin American internal trade would greatly benefit from the admission of immigrants. Immigration is especially essential for trade in the countries which are large in area and have small populations, the resolution emphasizes.
