The Jewish Colonization Association will continue its activities in Argentine, Palestine, Canada and other countries, Dr. Louis Oungre, General Director of the JCA stated today upon his arrival here from Brazil.
Dr. Nahum Goldmann and Mrs. Archibald Silverman also arrived here today. They were met at the airfield by representatives of local Jewish institutions and given a warm welcome. Dr. Goldmann stated that the hoped that aid for Jewish war refugees in Soviet Russia may soon be possible and indicated that the World Jewish Congress is now negotiating with the Soviet authorities on the subject.
