Rumania Introduces Yellow Armbands for Jews in Bukovina

All Jews in Czernovitz, capital of Bukovina, were ordered by the Rumanian authorities to wear yellow armbands bearing the Star of David, it was reported here today from Bucharest.

The report says that Jews in Bukovina are forbidden to appear in the street in the evening, and must do their shopping during specified hours. An order to this effect has been issued by Col. Rishanu, Premier Antonescu’s representatives in Northern Bukovina.
